There is plenty of admire in students' work. However, we would like to interpose a disclaimer at this point. None of these essays are extraordinary. Some pieces of work may contain numerous linguistic errors and other may present undeveloped ideas.  It is important to acknowledge these weaknesses when they occur so that they can be addressed in the future. There is always room for improvement, even when it comes to the best students.

One of our main concerns is that our students have enough material to include in their essays. There is no point in teaching grammar and structure to kids unless they actually have something to write; therefore, one essential step is to get kids to brainstorm via THE PYRAMID METHODS and to share as much of their knowledge as possible. Gradually, students are able to write with ease based on frequently asked questions. A unique mind map for particular topics will be discussed and copied down among all students throughout the lessons. Needless to say, different mind maps will be derived based on students' comments and ideas. However, the steps of brainstorming will be guided and standardized.

Writing a perfect essay and speaking are totally different. Writing Tip 1: The sentence is the basic unit of writing and it is important that we write strong, colourful sentences. When we speak we may use incomplete sentences with incorrect grammar, but when we write, our meaning must be clear. Personal Letters - Purpose: A personal letter is an informal correspondence generally written to inquire after a friend's health or situation, to express the writer's well-being, to communicate information such as holiday details or to generally develop communion between two parties, such as friends or relatives, who know each other well. A letter of sympathy may also be regarded as personal correspondence, written to reassure or express condolences. A recount is an account of past incident that you saw or experienced. In a recount, you narrate the incident in the order it happened using the past tense. A recount is always written in the first person. You have to use “I”, “My”, “Me” and “Mine” for the person who tells the story. When you write a recount based on a series of pictures, you need to study the pictures in their correct sequence carefully. Plan your recount. Make sure you have a setting, a main event and a resolution. Provide relevant information about the event relating to who, when, where, what and how. 

PT3 / SPM essay question: Descriptions: - Descriptions give us the writer's impression of people and places. How they appear, smell, behave, taste, sound and feel. - A good description will be reasonably focused to enable the reader to build a mental picture of the subject. - To stimulate the reader's interest, writers use each of the human senses as well as emotional triggers. They use detail to bring the picture to the reader. For instance, rather than saying the jungle is dangerous, they describe features of the jungle which make it appear threatening.
