Guidelines:

1. You may have to do one of the following:
    a. to present a viewpoint (i.e. to argue for or against a topic OR to argue in such a way so as to persuade the reader to agree with you).
    b. to discuss the pros and cons of the topic
    c. to try to solve a given problem.

2. use these strategies
    a introduction - state your stand on the topic
    b. middle paragraph - present the facts clearly and forcefully, give accurate facts, use specific examples and illustrations to support your argument.


3. conclusion
    a. restate your stand
